i have just gone through the process of placing my bike in dealer mode. the "C" does not show a bar at top bottom or middle? your thoughts please.

Im not sure what your talking about pertaining to the cutout for a comms unit.. i have the newest version of this helmet and there is no cutout, or plate or attachment “system” for a comms unit

They are awesome i got a wimpy 50 cc clone cause i got a hurt leg after a bad crash.but this weekend im buying one..a real one to see if i can get shifting done woi5h my bad leg..even if its not perfect..anything faster than 30 is welcome i coukd use forward controls but i cant aford a sportster right now

When I started driving a truck they didn't have gps and we needed to use a map and read signs to make sure we are safe on the road. There are plenty of places like NYC, Chicago and others where trucks with a 53' trailer or in some cases any trucks should not go. Just like in any profession there are idiots out there that think they know everything. The Dragon is a dangerous road and there have been many deaths on that road regardless of trucks being there. I have seen reports of a few deaths because of a truck getting stuck too. good video.

the grom may be fun...but a used grom may be more expensive than a used cbr250...LOL

Clipping the face shield in is easy unless you have a dark or reflective face shield where you can't see through it to find the connecting points.

If your DLX mips model has that Com port, it is the source of left side internal helmet noise. Don't believe me? Ride with it at highway speed and then cover that Com port with your left hand. The initial fix would be to cover the Com port with duct tape or a sticker... too tacky? Figure out how to seal all openings under that access plate. It makes a huge noise difference!

Late comment but did you lose any top end power? Or lose or gain any power at all? I don’t care about gaining any power but I really don’t want to lose any power or top speed if I buy this exhaust. I just would like a louder exhaust so I’m more noticeable for cars

Most companies fire truckers who do that. Terribly dangerous... No excuse not to read signs.

Great helmet. Only issue is the loud whistle with visor up at anything over 40-45 mph. It’s louder than any helmet I’ve owned, especially the 4 currently. Whatever causes it was corrected on the 1400, which I bought bc the 1200 was so good. The fit and finish are on point, especially for the price point.

I am a 75 year old man that as ridden bikes all my life. This past March I found it difficult to swing my leg over my '94 Yamaha V-Max and traded it in on a '23 black Grom. Riding the Grom around near neighborhoods I discovered a red and silver 2012 CBR250 sitting against a shed and it looked like it had not moved in a long time. I particularly caught my attention because it looks almost exactly like a smaller version of my 2010 red and silver Honda VFR1200f. I finally met with the owner who said it had not moved in 5 1/2 years. I bought it from him for $400 but it had a problem where I could not get the title. I made it run with little cash input and it really only needed a battery, fresh fuel, a rear master cylinder, chain and the tire was flat. On the internet I discovered a 2012 CBR in the red, white, and blue "Captain America" color scheme in excellent condition other than the engine had a rod knock and I bought it for $500. I am an old auto mechanic and in 13 hours I had the engine from the red one in the Captain America bike making one very good useful motorcycle for $900 with a big bunch of spare parts. I would not have believed there was a liquid cooled, fuel injected 250cc single cylinder motorcycle that could go 85MPH and get 77 miles per gallon. It is a real dream come true for this aging old man as I am not afraid of it. If I need to go really fast I have the VFR and a 2014 black CB1100. If I just want something to go to the store I take the Grom. The CBR is really the best compromise for me. My wife also downsized from a 2015 MT-09 900cc Yamaha to a '23 Kawasaki KLX230 kinda dirt bike. She too is developing physical problems, but there are not too many 75 year old ladies that will go into a Kawasaki dealer and buy a new bike entirely on their own. We both rode our bikes to church Sunday.

When it comes to wind noise, this is almost the exact opposite of what I saw on Yammie Noob. Something is fishy. I also don't think the difference in price (Shoei shield vs Bell helmet) is a very good measure overall. We all know Shoei is one of the top helmets, but to say the Bell might be considered comparably to be a $69 helmet is ridiculous. Brand names can also be over priced (ie. Apple).

As a truck driver, I would agree semi trucks don't belong there it's a dangerous road there are other ways to get to your destination.

I'm thinking about getting this bike for my 2nd bike. Currently have yamaha 150 cc bike. Is the honda reliable and dont have major issue with the engine.

30psi sounds rock-hard for that type of tire, especially off-road.

regarding the top-speed difference, the M6024's are probably lighter than the stock tires; less spinning weight results in less POWER/energy consumed to spin tires/wheels.

I'm thinking of getting one, I currently own a 2007 CBR125r which is an awesome little commuter bike but unfortunately not strong enough for 2 passengers going up hills. I would love to own a cbr250r or the 300, I used to have a crf250L and it was amazing! The CBR and CRF share the same engine. Little tip, if you want more responsive brakes you have to upgrade to braided steel brake lines.
